Due to the forecasted weather for Saturday (and all these days before and after), we need to cancel this activity, at least the posting of the large yellow signs on Meadowridge Road at both ends of Wesley Lane. We’d welcome it if any of our neighbors in our community wanted to take on organizing this event for either the follow Saturday, May 30, later in the season, and even in future years. At our association’s meeting of last April 20, one new director was elected to the board, Rod, and one director was re-elected, Roz. Our president for about 20 years, Javi, did not run for re-election, and so he now leaves that role in our association with our high appreciation for his great leadership, work and care over so long. Our board of directors, with five members, reconstituted this way: Jaime as president, Javier as vice president, Rod as treasurer, Isaiah as secretary, and Roz as at-large. During our association’s meeting of November 20, 2025 (via Zoom), a draft for the budget prepared by our board of directors was discussed. After several questions from members (property owners) were asked and answered, the board members attending voted to approve the budget. The current $30 monthly assessment fee will remain the same for 2026. Please plan to come out and enjoy ice cream from the Frosty Softy truck and chat with neighbors and just have relaxed fun out. You will not have to pay at the event as this is being paid out of our association’s social activities budget. Frosty Softy will make their widely varied menu available except banana boats. Good weather weather is expected, but in case weather becomes a concern as the day gets closer, please watch this website for rain date planning.

Location will be at the open field at the corner of Wesley and Greenmount! We have a SCOOPS2U truck come to serve two-scoop sundaes, with a range of toppings available.

Please come and enjoy the ice cream and meeting neighbors, and you are welcome to bring, if you so desire, any drinks just for yourself (or share if you want) such as iced tea, wine, juice, soda, etc. If you choose to bring anything to drink, please bring your own cups or other needed serving wares. We’ll aim to have some volunteers bring a few tables for serving wares such as cups and napkins, and will ensure there are extra napkins, cups and some trash bags.
